Benedetta Marialiliana Ceresoli

Phd candidate in Criminal Law

Born in 1997, after obtaining a classical high school diploma, in July 2021 I graduated cum laude in Law from the University “Statale” of Milan, defending a thesis in Criminal Law titled “Recidivism and Repeat Offending: Criticalities and Perspectives. A Socio-Legal Analysis”, supervised by Prof. Fabio Basile, with Avv. Pier Francesco Poli as co-supervisor. Due to the results achieved in my university career, I received the “Meritorious Graduate” Award from the Association of Law Graduates of the University of Milan (ALGIUSMI). From February 2021 to July 2021, before graduating, I completed a 5-month legal internship at the E. Traini Law Firm, specialized in criminal law. After graduation, I continued the internship until its completion, also obtaining authorization for substitute representation. In October 2023, I passed the bar exam and since February 2024 I am registered with the Bar Association. Since October 2023, I am a PhD candidate in Criminal Law at the “Cesare Beccaria” Department of Legal Studies of the University of Milan, with Prof. Fabio Basile as my tutor and Prof. Angela Anna Paola Della Bella as my co-tutor.
